Yoga Booty Ballet

Yoga Booty Ballet is a fairly cool concept. They combine dancing with fundamental yoga and ballet leg lifts to provide you with that a lean, more dancer like physique than more conventional workouts. They are in one workout, but they are nevertheless different portions of the workout. The ending result is a good workout that does not feel too intense, but still gets you results. If you like dancy workout routines, the cardio videos are lots of fun. The very first time or two, you are more into learning the choreography. Once you learn the moves, however, you are free to embellish and add intensity.  
 
Really, the ballet is leg lifts, but Teigh and Gillian altered that the motions a bit to get you results in that the areas you would like it. The music is very rhythmic, and the motions constantly follow the rhythm of the music. The cooldowns constantly include that a bit of stretching, and I actually saw a difference in my versatility after doing these workouts. The ab workout routines utilizing the soft ball are great for working that your inner upper thighs and targeting your lower ab a bit. They are happy and encouraging. And in most cases, their cuing is good.  
 
They name various moves and call out that the name before that the movement comes up so you know exactly what you are about to do. They do not put a lot of focus on reps, half the time you do not know how many of something you did. That does not work for everybody, however it works for me. Every workout starts and ends with meditation\/mudras. Many people find these encouraging, some won’t get into it. Personally, I skipped them. Teigh and Gillian are sort of kooky. Throughout the workout routines they let you aspire to that your highest potential or imagine that your heart is sparkly.  
 
The hubs made fun of it. A few of the editing in the Basic exercise is fairly off. Throughout the cardio sculpting portion, they often cut in close ups of Teigh’s arms in order that you could see her muscles working. These are not done very well and are frequently off count or off beat. The voice over for your yoga exercise in Basic is also not that the best. There is even a time where she does not think quickly enough, so instead of calling out which hand to use, she lifts her right hand and calls out this hand, this hand! It is understandable since her right is that your left, but that might throw people off. The cardio dances are not actually the style the claim. Cardio Cabaret is cabaret enough, but I did not believe it is burlesque except for a few moves. They are fun workout routines, and they are still very dancy.
